Next Year in Havana

Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton

I loved this book.  First, let me say that the cover is simply amazing!  The dual storyline was so well done and I learned an incredible amount of the past and current struggle of Cubans.  What a predicament that so many families in various generations have faced and this book was the perfect combination of story, mystery and history.  I read this with my book club and everybody loved it, (which never happens).  This was a book I picked and more than one person said it was the best book they had read this year!  We had great conversation and all almost felt like we had traveled to Cuba with the descriptions from the book. Highly Highly Recommended! 5 wonderful stars!
